MARCH NEWSLETTER 2022
Hello Everyone!
Not sure where to begin this Month.
The AGM was a mixture of good, bad and surprises, with only 59 out of 500+ Members attending. Firstly, I have to announce that our then Chairman, Jerry Wahlberg resigned due to health reasons. Therefore there was no ballot and Rob Doulton became Chairman. So your Committee for 2022 is as follows;

‘Launch Night’ was well attended and Ant and Dave had the place rocking! Fiona and Mike provided us with a wonderful buffet. There were a lot of new faces, which brings me to a GENTLE REMINDER.
Members are requested to carry their membership cards when they use the Club. Non-Members can be signed in by a fully paid up Member who knows them personally for two visits per month.
Another important thing you all need to be aware of is our Dress Code to avoid any embarrassment.

BOWLS on Friday 25th March there is A Bowls Social Quiz Night. All are welcome. There is a choice of Meals which have to be booked via a form from the Bar. Scampi and Chips £8.00 or Sausage and Chips £6.00. Start time 7.00 for 7.30. Come along and join us!

Club Quiz will be on the third Wednesday of the Month, and Hosted by Linda. Food available to order.
Plans for the Jubilee Celebrations are processing, it will kick off with a B.B.Q. on the Friday 3 June.
For those Snooker players who don’t know….Snooker Tokens have risen to £1.80. Booking is to continue to be by phone or talk to the Bar Staff.
We also offer, Darts, Bridge, Tea Dance, Slimming World, The Hammerers and Room Hire, along with a very comprehensive Menu from Otelli’s Kitchen.

For any March Birthday’s we All wish you a very Happy Birthday. One person in particular is Jerry who will be 50 on 26th March. Happy Birthday Jerry and we wish you all the best for your recovery. We also Thank You for all you have done for the Club over the years.
