THE WINCHESTER CLUB JANUARY 2025 NEWSLETTER
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR STAFF AND MEMBERS.

News from the Committee

Membership Renewals.
. You can renew your Membership for 2025 at the bar.
. You will be asked by the Bar Staff for your Club Card.
. Please renew your Membership by 31st January 2025.
. If any of your details have changed or you need an Affiliation
Card, please complete a Renewal Form (Yellow).
Car Parking.
We need to tighten up on Car Parking at the Club and in particular encourage Members to display their Parking Permit. You can receive your 2025 Parking Permit from the Bar Staff when you renew your Membership. Please note parking is very limited therefore it is strictly for Members, guests must park elsewhere.
Annual General Meeting.
The AGM will be held on Thursday 27th February 2025, at 7.30pm. No admittance without a valid Membership Card. Doors will close at 7.25 pm.
Nominations for Officers and Committee Members will be displayed in the Club. If you want to be proposed for a Club position, then please complete a Nomination Form which you can get from the Bar Staff.
If you want to raise an issue at the AGM, please put it in writing and submit to the Secretary by 13th February.

Race Night
Friday 24th January 7.30pm. Owners £5 Jockey £3. 8 Jockeys and 8 Owners in each race. Forms available next week.
Bowls
Reminder that there is a Skittles Evening on Friday 17th January, with supper as usual. Forms are available behind the Bar. Numbers are limited so get in there quick!!!!
Quiz Night with Sue.
The first Quiz of the year is on Wednesday 8th January in the Lounge Bar. 8pm start. Sue would appreciate it if you would bring along a friend or friends. The more the merrier! Little reminder that if they are non-members they must be signed in!

15th February…………….Elvis Tribute with Thomas Gabbini
8th March…………………Jukebox Country Duo
19th April………………….Soul and Motown with Sam Newman
10th May…………………..V.E Day with Vintage Sweethearts

Lastly…I hope you have found the screens in both the Bars useful. They are constantly being updated by Gary so you should be able to find all our latest news!!!!
